HESTIA. He's back. I just saw him wandering around in the staff hall because I had a few rolls of parchment to drop off. He started like he was going to say something, but I didn't want to get in the way of things. Maybe he wants to talk to you!

If I could get out of this jousting shite, I would. But considering I asked Flitwick and got a no, Smethley, you and I are partners.
As an aside, normally I try to keep my private business just that, but apparently, I'm something to jabber on about. So I'll make this simple: if you have something to say about what I do in my free time, say it to my face. Otherwise, I'm scratching out your comments.

Drinking. Now.

Thank you for your well wishes and encouragement. Also, congratulations to both teams. Gryffindor, you were a great competitor. It was exciting to play against (and beat) you. We're coming for you, Hufflepuff! When's our next match? I can't remember.
I hope everyone is okay. I know Leary took a nice tumble off his broom and Shacklebolt managed a bludger hit, but otherwise, I was pretty out of it. I haven't seen anyone up in the infirmary, so I'm going to assume you're all fine.
[Close Friends/Teammates]
My arm is fine. I didn't heal properly from the attack, I took a hit in the game, Madam Pomfrey has reattached fixed the injury and if I mind her demands, I'll be playing again in two weeks a week. I'll still be at whatever practice we have, I'm just not allowed to hit anything with my left arm.
Also, thank you for my visitors. And for helping me escape. I'm back in Ravenclaw and up to old habits of entertaining my dormmates and homework. If you need me, that's where I can be reached until classes start again. [/End]
[Hestia and Liz]
If you find the time, I'd love to have a girls' night with you. We all have things to talk about and mother just sent me a package stuffed with treats. It would be nice to catch up. I feel like I haven't actually gotten to talk to you without one of you being absent. [/End]

After being forced to let someone assess my injuries, they've felt it necessary to pop my arm back into its socket and despite the pain, I'm aware it could've been much worse. Obviously. I've seen so many people injured between the chase to and from the infirmary. I spent hours leading people back and forth. And finally, there's a little peace in the castle. I've gotten to sleep, albeit awkwardly, without my ritual nightmares. No more of this antagonistic shite. We've been moaning about having aurors around, but had they not been here, we would all be a lot worse off. I'm grateful to those who managed to protect us from that 'worse off'. And I'm grateful to the healers and those that have spent that past however many hours they have making certain that all of us are going to make a full recovery.
To those of you who didn't panic in the face of something so dangerous and frightening, thank you. And to those of you who were injured, heal well. And to those of you who offered help or stayed out of the way, thank you for being brave enough to know exactly what to do.
Ravenclaw, I'm proud of you.
Hexed to Close Friends
Are you all okay? I've been running back and forth between the infirmary, Ravenclaw, and everywhere in between. Does anyone need anything? Can I help any of you? I feel so useless right now. Does anyone need any sweets?

I think you'll have a hard time beating Ravenclaw this term. We're ready to go. And I'm looking forward to breaking some arms. Or faces.
I've come into possession of some beautiful jewelry this break. My mother got me a lovely necklace. And Aurea gave me the prettiest ear wrap. I don't think I could say thank you enough to those who were so kind to me this christmas. My ears have never looked so beautiful!

I did it I finally Eli Bucklin This is silly
Have you heard anything interesting about the dance or anything? I know someone got to the punch, thankfully not under my watch, but I was curious if you intended to spill your gossip now or later. I heard something about Marlene and Cassandra from a fifth year, but she jogged off to class before I could get much more out of her.
[End Lock]
I think I rather enjoyed this past event this go around. Thank you Dumbledore, Staff, and Aurors for allowing something so lovely to occur within your school. It was nice to feel pretty elegant for once. And the food was delicious!

I can't go to this party. I'll have to see him at Slug Club and classes. I'm already awkward as it is. I'll just politely tell him that I have studies to attend to and I cannot go.

I don't know whether to be happy about this whole thing or not. Going to this semi-formal party and everyone is freaking out about what to wear. I don't think it's such a big deal. But who knows. To someone, I guess it is.
Regardless, because of Hestia, I've been auctioned off to the only bidder of the high-spending, Ares Nott, who probably absolutely hates me.
So am I wearing yellow or green? I can't pick.

I regret to inform the team that my broom broke during practice earlier, though I AM FINE STOP ASKING IF I'M OKAY BECAUSE I'M UNINJURED PERFECTLY OKAY and will have to wait until my new broom is shipped in. Which, considering how quick post is, it shouldn't be more than a day or two.
As for what I was doing on the pitch, I had asked for permission for time outside with the attendance of a professor and had been granted such. Unfortunately, I pushed my broom to the limits and it sort of .. gave out. The tumble to the ground wasn't the issue, but the disintegration of the handle was depressing. I've been to Madame Pomfrey, so I assure you that there is no lasting damage.
I, however, am glad it wasn't during practice, as it would have been easy to target myself with a bludger had it been. So I'm grateful to Professor Kettleburn who took the time to enjoy the pleasant afternoon and make certain I was allowed outside.

As I've missed out on important homework opportunities and have fallen behind in my work, I will not be turning in lines.
